Developing film

Remember these?  I spent so many hours waiting for my pictures to come back from being developed to find that only a few were actually good and not blurry.  Now I use these only for my disposable camera's that the kids use.  

Valentine's Day

In my daughter's second grade classroom, I was a parent helper for their party.  The whole second grade had centers going in the classrooms for 20 minutes and then they would all go in the halls for a 5 minute dance party.  She kicked off her heels for the bunny hop, YMCA and other dance hits.

Here's one of the centers.  I loved the laundry soap containers to hold the beans for bingo.

In one center she made her own I-phone out of conversation hearts. 

I brought my son along for fun...

And on my way out took a quick pic of the teacher's desk.  She scored some good stuff this year!

Willy Wonka Themed Classroom

I've discussed my husbands love of Willy Wonka on this blog before found HERE and HERE   so I was very excited when I came across a second grade room that used Willy Wonka decorated room.  I especially loved the necklaces she ordered online with each kids name for reward beads.
